We are seeking an Underwriter Assistant. The principle responsibilities for this entry-level position include:
-directing correspondence from Agents & Brokers
-providing renewal and new business quotes to agents
-servicing agents request for coverage changes
-rating insurance policies
-addressing agents and companies regarding their policies
-developing underwriting information for existing accounts, ie.; order and review inspections, MVR's, etc.
Required Skills/ Education:
- 1-2 years Property & Casualty Experience Preferred
- Outstanding Oral and written communication skills
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- High level of computer proficiency
- Experience with Imageright a plus, but not required
