The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a highly motivated Consultant, Supplemental Health Claims to support our ever-growing claims organization in a work from home environment.
As a Consultant on our Supplemental Health Claims teams, you will help implement and lead our strategic sourcing partnership. You will be responsible for collaborating with leadership to ensure all KPI's are met and continuously observe for areas of growth and opportunity. What you'll be doing
• Overseeing strategic sourcing partnerships to ensure accurate and timely claim management and continuously promoting consistency from the onshore to offshore experience.
• Establishes and implements priorities, performance goals and objectives for our strategic sourcing partners to ensure group results.
• Develops and executes claim initiatives which have substantial impact on the success of claims handling, enhance the customer experience and successfully meet the annual business operating priorities.
• Directs and provides leadership to continually improve the capability and results within the Supplemental Health Claims organization.
• Partners with internal Product, Strategy and Enablement teams to drive execution of strategic priorities.
• Collaborates with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery of more complex claims.
• Monitors and assesses trends in claims, identifies opportunities, and implements industry leading, best practices to enhance the customer experience and improve claim management effectiveness.
• Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
• 1+ years of experience working with strategic sourcing vendors
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-haves:
• Experience in Supplemental Health Claims (Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity)

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
