However, the job posting has so many other options that many employers may not even know exist. Different job boards have a variety of options. No matter what job boards you use, I think you have an opportunity to really get that potentially passive candidate excited if you “super-size” your job posting and understand all the benefits.

Each job posting is really a mini website with its own unique URL combined with keywords allowing job seekers to find your postings directly through search engines like Google and Bing, as well as stand out on the job board where originally posted.
Job postings all start with a great job title and job description loaded with keywords of the competencies really needed to do the job. American Family’s job posting is well done as well. Notice the powerful graphic and job overview section. They also include their live career twitter feed, @AmfamCareers, as well as a link to their own career section on their website.
