These are part time positions of no more than 24 hours per week, these part time positions are not eligible for benefits. The shifts for these jobs are in the evenings (6:30 PM to 10:30 PM) and weekends with some shifts eligible for a shift differential of 10%.
Position Summary:
Dispatch contractors on new property losses, complete surveys for claim assignments, and provide customer service and field support for clients, contractors and other units within the Contractor Connection program.
Responsibilities for this position include: - receive claim assignments via telephone
- identify client and determine service to be provided
- provide immediate response to claims as unit handles some emergency claims
- input claim assignment data, verify accuracy and coordinate Contractor follow up
- prepare new claims to transmit to client and contractor for quick response
- complete surveys on the quality of service provided by contractors and documents surveys accurately
- complete dispatch to contractor and follow up with main office of Contractor Connection in Jacksonville, FL
- provide client instructions to field personnel
Some college education preferred but not required.
Previous office experience in a call center preferred.
Knowledge and skills required include: - excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- ability to deal tactfully & professionally with clients in a high volume call center environment,
- basic computer/typing skills, including familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets,
- excellent organizational ability,
- ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team atmosphere,
- good attention to detail,
- and strong work ethic.
