Tech Program Mgr - (BABW - Program Manager- E14-IT Lean Delivery) - #42686 TM

This position will be responsible for the program management of IT Lean Delivery processes and tools within the Application Development area.  The IT Lean Delivery program manager will interact with multiple project managers and leaders to provide support and guidance on the individual projects as well as coordinate with the overall big picture of the program. The position will be responsible for ensuring that the individual projects are organized and executed using a consistent framework and fulfilled within established guidelines. This position will require a broad view of both program objectives and organizational culture and processes. The position will interact and partner heavily with:

 

·         peer IT organizations such as the chief technology office, program and project management and quality assurance teams

·         existing application development project/ program managers who have overall accountability for their associates

·         change teams such as Global Sourcing, Talent Management and others that are driving change within application development

 

• Provides strategic planning analysis to ELT concerning staffing needs on short to long term basis based on program projections.
• Typically reports to an executive.
• Provides strategic direction for developing enterprise project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risk, contingency plan and allocation of resources.
• Provides expert knowledge of project management methodology approaches, techniques and tools to senior management.
• Directs system analysts, software designers and programmers to determine best methods to achieve project objectives.
• Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology.
• Determines project scope.
