May be located either in Chicago, IL (preferred), Indianapolis, IN, Denver, CO, St. Louis, MO or Newbury Park, CA. Responsible for working with other members of the Compliance staff  to assist with  External Audit and Compliance functions.  This will involve preparation for and execution of external audits by CMS, OIG, or other regulatory authorities. Accountabilities will include managing audit planning, conducting mock audits, conducting audit training, managing audit evidence preparation, assessing the quality of audit evidence and audit preparedness, participating in the execution of on site and/or desk audits; collecting anticipated audit findings; and assisting the Senior Business in responding to audit reports by developing, implementing, and monitoring Corrective Action Plans. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with other ad hoc corrective action plan-related projects as necessary and participating in the Delegated Entity Oversight Program.  Some overnight travel is required.
