Who May Apply
Exempt level employees (Salary Grades 20 and above) must be in their current position at least 18 months.
Non-Exempt level employees (Salary Grades 16 and below) must be in their current position at least one year.
Employees must have at least a 'meets requirements', or its equivalent, as their current performance rating.

If you are hired into a position at the same salary grade as your current salary grade, there will be no compensation action at the time of hire into the new position.  Exceptions to this practice must be approved by the SVP, U.S. Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
• Learn about the brokerage community and how insurance is transacted
• Gain an understanding of ACE and its operating structure
• Attend customer presentations/visits with senior staff members to develop marketing skills
• Under supervision select, analyze and underwrite individual risks utilizing established best practice guidelines and pricing models
• Participate in corporate and business unit training programs
• Assist underwriters in meeting deadlines on various underwriting service responsibilities including
o Clearance of accounts in underwriting system
o Coordinate with claims department
o Manage renewal solicitation and non-renewal processes
o Work with compliance department to ensure regulatory compliance is being met
o Code and issue policies as needed
o Interact with other ACE divisions as needed

Desired Qualifications & Responsibilities:
• Bachelor Degree
• Strong PC Skills - intermediate level knowledge of Excel and Word
• Good math skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be organized and a self-motivated individual
• Must be resourceful and able to complete projects in a deadline driven environment
