Capitol Insurance Companies(A 2009 Best Place to Work in Insurance Company), a fast-paced, growing Commercial Lines Insurance/Surety Company seeks an experienced, customer service focused individual for their Commercial Fidelity & Surety Underwriting team in their Atlanta (Sandy Springs), Georgia Office.
This position: will assist the underwriters in all aspects of the underwriting process to include:- Gathering, screening, analyzing and evaluating information on new and existing accounts
- Making recommendations to the underwriters based on this evaluation
- Providing high-level customer service to agents
Successful candidates will have:- Associates or Bachelor’s degree
- Or 2 to 3 years of equivalent industry experience as an underwriting technician or bond assistant
- Knowledge of basic industry concepts and word processing software programs and spreadsheet software required
- Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Multi-task
- Pay attention to details
- Meet deadlines
- Work independently
- Problem solve
