Manage the delivery of the Claim Quality Assurance Program in the Region. Assess quality of claim handling to identify areas of opportunity to facilitate feedback and action plans to enable continuous improvement. Provides systematic monitoring of the claim process, including the lower loss costs and the highest level of excellence in customer service. Shares claim functional expertise through training Regional employees. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Deliver, present and administer the Claim Quality Assurance Program to the Region. Provide focal point for quality improvement strategies and follow through on implementation of maximum improvement opportunities. Develop a quality assurance production schedule for the Region.

Conduct, coordinate and oversee claim functional file reviews and focused claim file reviews. Calibrate supervisors on their own reviews and other quality assurance practices.

Determine measurements. Monitor and analyze data and conduct trending analysis of claim outcomes. Prepare various reports for Regional Management and HO on regular basis.

Develop Regional Quality Assurance Action Plan, oversee its implementation, and monitor progress. Recommend solutions to continuous process improvements.

Participate in Regional discussions and conferences on regular basis to share information, identify trends, and determine interventions to achieve consistency across Regions, to lower loss costs, and to achieve highest level of excellence in customer service. Participate and contribute as an active member of the Regional leadership team.

Provide assistance and feedback to individual employees on how to achieve greater quality results. Present training sessions on general quality subject matter. Collaborate with Claim Training as needed on specific training tasks and on general quality assurance issues as they relate to training and development.

Promote and encourage an inclusive and diverse work environment. Practice inclusive behaviors. Model professional and ethical conduct, adhering to corporate policy.

Participate in Corporate Quality Assurance surveys of other Regions on periodic basis.

Use technology and other resources, such as Internet and Intranet, to achieve greater efficiency and better results.

This position requires travel to those states in which the company conducts business.


Qualifications:

-Must possess claim functional expertise.
-Working knowledge of quality assurance fundamentals and good analytic skills.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Must be able to deliver training programs and presentations.
-CPCU, CIC, SCLA or other professional designation preferred.
-Working knowledge of all applications contained within Microsoft Office and computer literate.
-This position requires travel to those states in which the company conducts business.
-Supervisory experience preferred.
