Summary of Role:
In this role, under general supervision, you will perform a variety of claim clerical support duties such as answering telephones; taking messages; sorting/filing mail, and correspondence for the Service Center or Claim Office.
- Matche proper file and/or claim number on unidentified correspondence by use of the Focus automated systems.
- Perform control operator functions for the Focus equipment.
- Review and remove files for destruction or transfer to central storage
- Retrieve and/or re-file items from central storage facility and maintain accurate records of file activity.
- May assist in updating department manuals.
*Perform other related duties as required or requested.*
Required:
- One year experience as a Claim Clerk II, or the equivalent
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
Preferred:
- Demonstrated knowledge of claim file systems and procedures.
