Summary of Role:
The Financial Systems Specialist will provide ongoing support and leverage solutions that enable Crawford & Company Canada to fully take advantage of the Cognos suite of applications (including Planning, Forecasting and Reporting). Duties will include taking a lead role in the requirements gathering, development, implementation, maintenance, and quality assurance of related applications, processes, and projects.
Responsibilities:
? Design Cognos Enterprise Planning models based on end user needs
? Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing models, including updates and requirement revisions
? Respond to and assist with end user questions and requests
? Work with ICT for technical requirements and research issues
Required:
- Previous experience in one or more functional areas of Finance.
- Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning (Adaytum).
- Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training
- Excellent understanding of department/unit workflow processes
Preferred: - Bachelor's degree
- Cognos Finance experience a strong plus.
- Cognos Enterprise Planning product certification a strong plus.
- Cognos Business Intelligence tool experience a plus.
