Position Overview/Summary:
The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Worker's Comp Adjuster in our Worcester, MA office.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Handles Workers Compensation claims for VA and other southern states, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation and resolution of moderately complex claims.
Responsible for managing all aspects of each claim and maintaining a high level of productivity, confidentiality and customer service.
Must possess or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits.
Uses discretion and independent judgment in claim handling.
Identifies possibly suspicious claims.
Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of fully competent practitioner.
Implement and coordinate the most effective management techniques to mitigate loss and expense payments.
Settlement and reserving authority levels are moderate.

Essential Skills and Experience:
3 - 5 years WC experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Cultivates an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
Operates with latitude for un-reviewed action or decision.
Computer experience (MS Office, excel, word, etc)
Proficient using Claims systems (i.e. CSS, PMS, etc.)
