Part time Safety/Loss Control Consultant to work on a contract basis and compensated on an hourly rate. 3+ years experience conducting insurance casualty/risk assessment surveys. Qualified candidates MUST have thorough understanding of General Liability, Property and Auto Liability Coverage’s. Good communication skills required. Must have Home PC with Microsoft Word, Internet Access, and digital camera, if photos are requested. Information gathered from the survey/interview process will be reported in brief narrative and checklist format and submitted via the Internet. Primary responsibilities include inspecting properties such as buildings, industrial operations, vehicles, and recreational facilities to evaluate physical conditions, safety practices and hazardous situations. Observe business operations and evaluate management practices to determine if safety issues and hazards affecting insurance premium are adequately controlled. Prepares written reports of findings and generates system recommendations for correction of unsafe or unsanitary conditions. Number of assignments may vary depending upon geographical location.
