KEY OBJECTIVE: Design, Develop and Maintain BI reports and On-line Queries
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Position entails Administration Support (20-30%) and Application development (70-80%). In general, the Administration support will consist of the following: Production support of daily and monthly interfaces Daily maintenance of BI products including data related problems Short range and Long range planning of projects and delivery to include optimization and fine tuning Lead projects & staff as required Software Upgrades and Conversions Enforcement of policies, standards and procedures Development environment (s) support Change Management
In general Applications Development consists of the following: Requirements gathering and Analysis Data Model design and Development Query Design and development OLAP design & programming SQL programming
SCOPE This position is part of the ACE USA Operations and MIS Business Unit.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience. Strong knowledge of COGNOS, SQL, OLAP Strong Analytical Skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with JAVA Script Programming & VB .NET, knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance, and Hyperion/Brio or other Business Intelligence tools a plus
