As the Research Unit Manager, you will be directly responsible for the four following functional areas:

Key responsibilities
- Proven success in managing, coaching and developing a team of Research Associates.
- You will manage a unit with a focus & drive toward results.
- Ability to meet the business unit objectives, setting team or individual goals and expectations and providing ongoing feedback.
- Supportive of the analysis and implementation of improved workflow for increased efficiency/effectiveness.
- Provides timely coaching and feedback to employees regarding development.
- Ability to communicate vision and strategies that are focused on the key business goals.

SKILLS REQUIRED Required skills/experience
- The ideal candidates will posses an Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in mortgage servicing, customer service, or hazard insurance processing is required.
- This position requires demonstrated decision-making, initiative, organizational, and problem solving skills that are necessary for success, combined with strong leadership and training/development skills, as well as, flexibility and adaptability to a changing, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and analytical skills
- MS Office 2000 Word and Excel skills required.
Desired skills/experience
- Two or more years of supervisory experience are preferred.
- Preferred systems knowledge: Track All, Mortgage Serve, and on-line reporting programs (e.g. xptr, xtnd, sar, acquire...).
- Working knowledge of legacy servicing systems such as Fidelity, LSAMS, Quest and CitiLink.
