Work with others to develop and implement new and existing websites using content & data management systems built with Microsoft technologies. You will be involved with implementing dynamic, data driven designs for new websites as well as existing Internet and intranet sites. This position will be 70% coding functional enhancements and 30% UI creative design. This position will be responsible for:
-overall intranet and internet information architecture -developing new features and capabilities using .NET -building functional prototypes from technical specifications -identifying system deficiencies and recommends solutions -designing new user interfaces
The ideal candidate will be creative and capable of designing new look and feel graphics from scratch as well as implementing functional enhancements to the sites which may include coding web services, stored procedures, asp.netetc.
The salary range is $60,000-$80,000.
REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Development IDEs: Visual Studio .Net, Visual Studio 6, Database Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server (TSQL), DTS, SSIS Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Asp.Net, C#, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, XSLT, XML, Active Server Pages (ASP), Microsoft SharePoint, Web Services Graphics Programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
CORE COMPETENCIES: -Create cross-platform, cross browser code that is clean, extensible and compact -Troubleshoot & debugging Internet technologies -Create detailed documentation to clarify standards and technical processes to IT groups as well as non-technical audiences -Understand front-end technologies and possible impact on site security and performance -Demonstrates familiarity with information architecture. -Multitask between regular task requests, small projects and work as a team on larger projects -Understands technical and functional design requirements and can implement .NET solutions that meet those requirements -Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules -Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards -Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging -Anticipates client needs before they arise and presents solutions to project management that encompass issues at hand
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Engineering, or Interactive design.
