The Internal Controls/Data Quality Consultant provides a high level of financial internal controls and data quality subject matter expertise and judgment to all levels of management throughout the organization. Facilitates and performs risk assessments, testing of key controls and assists senior management in making an overall assessment of a division's internal controls over financial reporting. Consults with management in developing action plans to address areas of concern over financial internal controls. Identifies ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting internal controls and data quality controls through the use of automated controls and other generally accepted techniques. Leads data quality projects and initiatives in support of American Family's data governance structure.
