The Sourcing Consultant plans and executes the sourcing strategy and tactical plans for a third party spend category. Works closely with business partners to ensure the application of leading procurement processes and polices. Assesses demand and makes independent sourcing decisions for managed categories, or supports decisions made by business partners for coordinated categories. Conducts market assessments to facilitate supplier evaluation, selection and contracting. Serves as a project manager for either managed or coordinated category teams.

Travel associated with supplier qualification and auditing as appropriate.

Experience specific to claims sourcing is a plus.
