The Glatfelter Agency is currently seeking an Employee Benefits Department Supervisor to join their team in the downtown York location. This position will oversee a support staff of approx 6 Account Managers / Service Representatives to provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to the firm’s clients and producers.
The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of group benefits products as well as supervisory experience. They should possess a broad understanding of Group Life & Disability, Health, Dental and Vision products on accounts ranging in size from individual accounts to approx 500+ lives. They should also have experience in creating and implementing department policies and procedures. Existing relationships with large carriers will be a plus. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) with 3 years supervisory experience working for a retail insurance agency.
