Position Summary
The Financial Systems Department of the Unitrin Services Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to work in Jacksonville, FL.
This position will:
- Design and maintain financial models to provide business unit support
- Perform collection, analysis and projection of data
- Participate in monthly closes
- Partner with business unit managers and communicate directly with senior level management
Position Requirements
- 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance experience in a Corporate work environment
- Advanced to Expert level Excel skills
- Experience building & maintaining Financial Models
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of Accounting/Finance principles and procedures.
- Ability to communicate well with employees at all levels
- Strong decision-making, planning, and implementation skills
- Capability to draw inferences, weigh alternatives and present logical solutions to problems
- Proven ability to manage time and work independently to achieve results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Education equivalent to graduation from college with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business, or the equivalent in related work experience
