1. Fundamentals of Directors' and Officers' coverage, terms and conditions. Understanding of management liability coverage and the commensurate ability to offer terms and conditions which generate a profit for Ace while meeting the needs of the customer.
2. Risk Assessment. Ability to identify risk exposures, special or common hazards, and appropriate controls for directors and officers, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, and crime insurance. Ability to evaluate risk based on exposure and risk analysis.
3. Financial proficiency. Understanding of financial statements and ratios used in management liability risk analysis. Understanding of impact of underwriting decisions on company assets. Ability to understand credit risk.
4. Marketing and Communications. Ability to sell and negotiate private company management liability coverage to achieve bottom line profitability for Ace. Ability to make presentations and communicate articulately. Ability to base communications on strategic thinking. Ability to manage producer strategy.
5. Systems and programs. Ability to use systems and software programs needed to conduct daily business.
