SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, PREMIUM AUDIT & CONTROL
KEY OBJECTIVE
Supports the premium accounting and control functions including premium audits, reconciliations, analysis, record-keeping and voucher preparation in support of various insurance programs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Ensures the accuracy of the administrative system deferred premium accounts. Reconciles accounts and prepares journal vouchers or other corrective action as necessary.
2) Oversees the captive and funded deductible programs to ensure that the data is accurately recorded in both the statistical and accounting systems on a quarterly basis.
3) Works collaboratively with ACE India team responsible for premium audit and related corrective action.
4) Responsible for identification, documentation and testing of key audit and SOX controls. Actively supports yearend audit work.
5) Ability to understand relations between the various systems used to provide information (premium registration, billing, service fees) and application of such to maintain/improve/correct data.
6) Develops and implements monthly status reports and executive summaries of results.
7) Complete Special Projects as requested by management.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate should have:
• BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience with 3-5 years related experience
• CPA and/or audit experience desirable.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, People soft G/L desirable).
• Solid data analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers
