|
Responsible for technical, physical, and administrative safety of information systems. Responsible for ensuring data is safe from alteration or erasure. Authenticates identity of entities that information systems communicate with through methods such as two or three way handshake, token systems, or telephone callbacks. Responsible for ensuring closed networks have proper access control or open network with encryption. Documents risk analysis and risk management programs in compliance with federal regulation. Advise and counsel customers on matters pertaining to area of expertise (i.e., human resources, training, communications, legal) to develop best practices and build effective organizations. Advise customers on tactical strategies, systems, process, and programs to enhance operational efficiency and expand business. Develops strategies, programs/projects that impact group, and/or organization. Leverages resources to maximize achievement of project goals. Requirements: § A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related is preferred. § Preferred five years experience in the IT security field. § Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or the ability to obtain CISSP is required. § Professional certifications such as CISA, SANS, GIAC, CBCP, CPP, MCSE are a plus. § Must have experience in security management in both internal and external security and a strong understanding of information system security principles and INFOSEC Assessment Methodology. § Applicant must have general security experience with specialized experience in Information Security Principles including: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Operations Security, Communications Security, Information Classification and Marking, Information Assurance and Information Systems Security, Risk Management and TEMPEST. § Must have excellent leadership/management, briefing, writing and customer interface skills. § Knowledge of system firewalls. |
