Position DescriptionOverland Solutions is seeking to add a Sales Executive to be responsible for developing new client relationships and helping continue the company's growth in the Southwest market. The market territory includes: Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Southern Nevada or the state of Florida. The Sales Executive is expected to generate a new, profitable business by identifying new customer targets and building meaningful relationships through personal selling effort. Successful Sales Executives will be able to accomplish their goals with a minimum of supervision and oversight.Essential functions and duties of the position include the following:Developing relationships with senior executives at customers and prospective customers within assigned territories.Responsible for marketing and selling all company products and services to existing, former, and prospective customers, in person, within the assigned territory.Sales and activity management responsibilities encompass:oDiscussing and planning sales objectives with corporate sales management to effect proper sales program for their market;oPre-planning customer sales calls in line with customer requirements and Company sales objectives;Develops and maintains meaningful contact with customer executives such as CEO, CFO or Chief Underwriter.Suggests to management ideas and programs involving product or marketing techniques gained through broad knowledge and experience.Attends trade shows, meetings and conventions as circumstances demand.The Sales Executive position represents an outstanding opportunity for a forward thinking, action oriented professional seeking to advance their career and take on new challenges with a dynamic, growth-oriented company.Position Requirements A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related degree is required. Familiarity with insurance products is helpful as well as experience selling a service-oriented product. A minimum of three to five years relevant experience. Must possess excellent verbal presentation capability, communication skills and interpersonal skills. Good planning, organizing and prioritization skills are required in addition to an ability to work well independently. Should be able to demonstrate an ability to be successful with limited direction. A self-starter that can follow through on responsibilities and is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, growth environment. Must have and demonstrate a strong customer service orientation. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and proven record of advancement. Should be willing to travel around 80% of the time.CompensationThe company offers a competitive compensation package which consists of base salary and commissions which will be directly related to the experience level, credentials and background of the candidate.
