Our Harrisburg Branch Office is looking for a Subrogation Specialist. Experience handling insurance liability claims, subrogation, or inter-company arbitration activities is needed for this specialist position responsible for the collection of money owed to ERIE by other insurance companies or individuals. Three years of previous experience working specifically with subrogation claims in property or worker’s compensation is required. Accomplished communication, analytical and negotiating skills are also required along with some computer knowledge. Successful completion of AIC 33, AIC 35 or AIC 36 is preferred. Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional designation is a plus. You’ll review claim files for subrogation appropriateness, negotiate settlements when possible, and prepare and handle claims for inter-company arbitration or collection through legal proceedings.
