Essential Job Functions – Major Account Executive, Richarson, Texas This position is responsible for developing relationships and coordinating the servicing of large accounts and key brokers. This position also works with sales, service and underwriting to effectively sell and retain business.
May perform duties such as: • Participate in the bid process for major accounts and finalist meetings if selected. • Coordinate core finalist team strategy that supports multiple service locations. • Responsible for working with Sales to secure all needed installation information from agent and or group. • Work with various departments to assure the complete implementation and installation of new major accounts. • Design and implement a customized service strategy for each major account and train group administrators and internal staff accordingly. • Participate in enrollment meetings when necessary. • Develop plan to house pertinent information and track service of major accounts on common platform. • Serve as customer advocate, act as liaison between internal departments and the customer. Address service issues and drive resolution development and implementation. • Identify growth opportunities – increase membership, value added products, increase existing benefits for major accounts. • Work in partnership with sales rep to jointly present renewals, including gathering of claim experience, underwriting data, reporting and other exhibits. • Assist in training and communication to producers/Blues partners regarding FDL’s products and service/administrative capabilities. • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. • Maintain complete confidentiality of company related business. • Maintain effective communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
Job Requirements – Major Account Executive , Richardson, Texas The selected candidate will meet the following criteria: • College degree in Business or Marketing. • Health/Life insurance license. • Minimum of 5 years experience in the insurance industry, with sales support, marketing support, group underwriting or customer service. • Supervisory experience. • Group insurance product knowledge with life and disability. • Effective presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Strong problem solving skills. • Strong project management skills. • Ability to travel; address customer needs and make sound decisions; build strong customer relations. • Effective written and verbal communications skills.
