Independent Contractor Opportunity

If you’ve dreamed about owning your own business at some point in your life – this could be it!

Become one of our recommended "HSA Experts," helping our web visitors find an HSA-qualified health insurance plan.

HSA for America offers health insurance plans and Health Savings Accounts for individuals and families needing their own health insurance programs outside those offered by an employer.

Thousands of visitors come to our website each week looking for information about and access to HSA-qualified health insurance plans. We provide a shopping and buying experience that provides high value information and on-site quotes. Our marketing systems lead to immediate sales opportunities, as well as long-term customers and a high level of referral business.

We are seeking relationships with Independent Contractors working from their own home or office who want to receive leads in any of 35 states in which HSA for America does business.

If you have the requisite existing independent business structure, you will gain access to our marketing system, which produces numerous inquiries via phone, email, and scheduled pre-qualified appointments. These very high quality leads are driven to ONE independent contractor, not many. While contractors are not guaranteed any specific number of leads, they typically receive higher volume as their productivity increases.

Our most successful agents have closed up to $40,000-$50,000 in annualized premium per week, adding $100,000 - $150,000 or more of revenue to their existing business.

Business Requirements

We are not looking for employees – if you don’t have the desire and ability to support yourself while your book of business grows, this isn’t for you.

The ideal Contractor will have either an existing successful business that has adequate resources to take on additional leads, or be able to demonstrate that they can absorb the costs of a typical insurance revenue cycle that builds residual income over a period of months.

We ONLY work with independents who have self-motivation, results-orientation, a positive outlook and a long-term commitment to the insurance business. We are also looking to partner with those who demonstrate a clear commitment to providing the highest level of service to acurrent clients.

We ONLY work with those already possessing strong consultative sales and people skills, who have learned a wide variety of products and gained the expertise required to help potential clients review products and make a wise choice.

We are only interested in working with established businesses that have their own office, internet and email systems and can learn the basic workings of our marketing system. We can teach you the health, HSA and insurance business and even help you get licensed, but you have to supply the effort over a period of months to see the business grow. You can make a great living doing this, but it IS NOT a ‘get-rich-quick” scheme. It will take 3-6 months for the average productive agent to build up a substantial income stream.

Our Contracted Agents:

1. Receive leads from individuals seeking HSA-qualified health insurance plans and other related products.
2. Use proven HSA for America systems to market to their own clients and prospects.
3. Get computerized customer and prospect databases to track leads.
4. Get planned individual account support via order-processing HSA for America staff.
5. Get access to weekly ‘help’ calls to learn how to use systems and aid business and organizational development.
6. Receive high-value information to develop expertise that is synonymous with the HSA for America brand name.
To qualify for consideration, Independent Contractors must maintain a valid insurance (or other required) license in all states in which they market, carry Errors & Omissions coverage and are responsible for all of their own expenses. These will include (but are not limited to) state licensing fees, any appointment fees (when charged by insurance carrier), Errors & Omissions coverage (approx. $50 per month), and business cards ($50 per 1000, must include a professional photograph).
