This position will be responsible for the review and payment of medical bills related to automobile accidents.
Duties will include: Determining coverage Making 24 hour voice to voice contact with injured parties Identifying and addressing causational issues Accurately inputting loss information into a computer based claim system Recognizing potential fraud and referring to the appropriate expert Handle the complex medical payment claims
Successful candidates should possess the following qualifications: College Degree or equivalent preferred Previous claim handling experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers Effective verbal and written communication skills Hardware and software skills and abilities including computers and other similar electronic devices Keyboard skills Proficient in Word Familiarity in medical terminology preferred Strong organizational skills
