Job Summary: 
This position is responsible for providing project administration support, as defined by the Project Manager, and the achievement of simple to complex unit or corporate goals.  Assists with the controls planning and execution of the project¿s activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met. The Project Coordinator works with some supervision and guidance and is responsible for applying basic project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.  The Project Coordinator operates within defined parameters using a proven project management methodology with flexibility to merge different methodologies in accomplishing collective goals.

Primary Duties: 
- Assists in assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying and managing appropriate resources needed, and developing and managing schedule to ensure timely and meeting deadlines of
project(s)
- Assists with managing project budget and achieving cost targets
-Responsible for quality management and control
- Responsible for the development and execution of the project¿s communication plan
- Assists in managing project risks and scope and identifies and resolves issues which may impact the project results
- Prepares and reports timely project status to appropriate stakeholders
- Builds and leverages effective alliances across technical and business community

- Technical Knowledge
Has a good understanding of the business that the assigned projects are supporting.  Uses this understanding of the business and systems environment to develop appropriate and timely solutions to daily issues. Has conceptual knowledge of varying technologies and/or application development and the ability to make decisions based on that knowledge.

Is learning to accurately assess and understand customer needs and work with a sense of urgency to satisfy those needs within negotiated timeframes.  Able to interface effectively with customers in sensitive customer/support situations.  Effectively communicates (verbal, written and presentation ability) with peers and all levels of management. Ensures that reports are precise, timely and accurate

Demonstrates moderate analytic and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are loosely defined and/or where information is available but must be further manipulated.  Once decisions are made, is able to follow and direct action to implement intended results.  Demonstrates insight, creativity and resourcefulness in developing or applying technology, services, products or working practices.  Develops and implements new and ingenious solutions. Is developing negotiation skills

- Leadership
Supports a distinct business unit, several smaller functions or corporate-wide functions. Responsibilities are assigned with some latitude for setting priorities and decision-making using established policies and procedures. Results are reviewed with next level manager for clarification and direction before proceeding

- Planning and Project Management
Works with the project manager in prioritizing and managing scope of their project tasks as well as establishing clear priorities and understanding of the larger picture. Executes the project tasks using a defined set of tools and the Delivery Methodology. Able to follow a defined process for scope changes, risk management, issue management and other proposed changes in priorities from the business partner or other parties.

- Financial Awareness
Has a basic understanding of all fiscal budgeting and expense control for project(s).  Demonstrates sound cost-effectiveness. Learning to track actuals to budget and reporting to project manager.  Responsible for important and confidential information
