SUMMARY:
Evaluate operating environment, vendors, workflow processes, and support services for workers compensation subrogation business; document multiple solutions to help recommend and lead implementation of changes for improvement. Develop and design programs and initiatives with line of business partners to improve internal and external business processes for workers compensation subrogation.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Provide technical knowledge and project coordination on large-scale claim workflow and systems projects to increase productivity, reduce expenses, and improve claim results and service through efficient workflow, appropriate staffing, effective use of technology, and quality customer service.
Develop and implement process strategies and plans in support of marketing initiatives and programs.
Consult with business management regarding approaches to implementing business process change.
Direct systems and workflow initiatives in support of business process, service improvement, and cost effectiveness.
Direct the analysis of outcome results, identify areas with improvement opportunities, understand and assess barriers to success.
Develop strategies to address issues in identified areas and improve results.
Direct competitive analyses and benchmarking studies.
A portion of the job requires participation in Subrogation QM and ongoing training to the subrogation and claim centers individually and in conjunction with Claim University.
Identify trends in all lines of business, with follow up design and implementation of global recovery strategies.
EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY:
College degree
WORK EXPERIENCE:
6+ years liability claim, management and insurance experience.
OTHER:

The preferred location for this position is in Hartford.
