Safeco has an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual to join our Customer Care Gold Team. Our Customer Care Professionals focus on multiple lines of coverage. As a Customer Care Professional, you will:

  • answer inbound customer calls offering solutions to their questions and taking the opportunity to evaluate their policies
  • put your consultative skills to work by offering additional products to customers to ensure the most comprehensive coverage
  • rely on your sales skills to present products, provide rate quotes and write new business including underwriting the risk.

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience is required.
  • Ability to adapt to change and execute in a fast paced environment
  • Candidates must be able to successfully complete company sponsored training program
  • Meet eligibility and testing requirements to obtain a Property and Casualty agency license
  • Computer proficiency and experience in a Windows based environment is required
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new information quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate with others required
  • Must be able to interpret insurance needs and offer appropriate solutions
  • Relocation assistance is not provided with this position.
  • This position requires up to 10 weeks of training, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning 06/30/08.

We are currently hiring to fill shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM Monday - Saturday.
