Description: Everest National Insurance Company, a member of the Everest Re Group, LTD, is seeking a Sales & Marketing Director to develop and manage the sales and marketing activities for specialty products written directly through Everest National Producers. The ideal candidate must possess a proven track record in marketing and producer management, market research, producer recruitment and business development skills. Very strong communication and analytic skill is necessary to develop and manage sales and marketing activities to maximize underwriting profit and growth.
Successful candidates must:
Lead the unit's efforts to develop and market our specialty products through wholesale and retail agents. Lead the strategic analysis of the marketplace to identify new market segments and opportunities, as well as monitor industry changes, trends, and competitive movements to capitalize on these opportunities. Identify, recruit and manage a network of producers to maximize to achieve production goals. Design and implementation of effective sales and business development activities to reach the targeted market segments including the identification and development of the most effective distribution system. This includes the development of promotional and advertising material.
Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of 10 years multi-line commercial insurance experience with background in producer management, business development and Home Office or Field Office Marketing management. Be self-motivated and independent while maintaining underwriting discipline to achieve strategic objectives. Excellent ability to develop, implement and manage a marketing plan in order to meet premium production goals and produce an underwriting profit. Perform effectively in a technical leadership position to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for new product offerings. Possess excellent communication, broker relations and business development skills to build positive relationships with our business partner and through their in-depth product knowledge in all commercial lines of business achieve compliance with company's goals and objectives. Proven ability to effectively manage, communicate, negotiate, lead and market decisions. Develop, implement and control sales and marketing standards that supports strategic objectives and achieve desired financial goals. Possess operational discipline to assure highest levels of quality and customer service. BS/BA degree preferred.
