Helps management achieve corporate objectives and strategic plan goals by fully supporting the mission of the Controller''s Division. Supports the achievement of corporate financial and growth goals by providing management in all areas of the company with necessary financial information and analysis pertaining to our profitability, financial safety, new business production, policy retention and growth, loss costs, expense control, employee productivity, and operating efficiency, which helps to assure that all corporate decisions are made while considering the associated financial and growth impacts. Analyzes and maintains financial operational reporting systems to provide this information. Develops loss cost and expense forecasts for all lines of business. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and relationship building skills. Consulting experience will be valuable. Depending on qualifications, the selected candidate may be considered for a higher level position. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements Must be able to determine the effects of certain financial decisions on all areas of the Company. Demonstrates an understanding of general insurance accounting. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry and how different disciplines interact and affect overall financial results. Two (2) years related work experience. Demonstrated ability to perform financial and operational analysis. Knowledge of and experience with personal computer applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
