THE JOB OPPORTUNITY:
Branch Management
WE OFFER THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Lead a team of committed underwriter and broker producers
Use cutting-edge technology to deliver high quality service to insurance agents and agencies
Access the breadth of our products and markets
Partner with a service-oriented corporate headquarters team
Play a key leadership role in the dynamic growth of a highly successful and consistently profitable company
WE EXPECT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO:
Effectively lead and manage the employees of a Burns & Wilcox office
Mentor and train employees in sales and service
Manage operations and service quality of a Burns & Wilcox office
Engage and develop the underwriter/broker producers
Define and monitor successful sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with senior management
Be technologically savvy and data driven and develop those capabilities in their team
Supervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures, and compliance with contract terms
Manage relationships with retail agents and branch underwriter/broker producers
Monitor competitive climate and, in cooperation with corporate headquarters, seek opportunities to access new insurance markets and products
Oversee office work flow
Drive consistency and quality in operational processes
Be responsible for office P & L
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years of like business experience
Insurance license preferred
