Under limited supervision, provides loss prevention consulting services for a property casualty insurance carrier. Conducts extensive field research, data collection, evaluation and analysis in order to make recommendations to control customer''s source of risk, loss and/or costs. Maintains advanced level of understanding loss prevention products, services and operations within realm of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
6-8 years of loss prevention consulting experience with a property casualty insurance carrier; experience conducting fire sprinkler analysis using NFPA 13; strong communication and listening skills in order to develop and maintain relationships with customers; proven ability in advance level research, evaluation and analysis functions; successful demonstration of technical skills in areas of risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement; proven ability to deal with all levels of an organization and effective leadership qualities.
Education: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent with coursework in any of the following disciplines: physical sciences, engineering, safety and health or related areas. Designation(s) such as CSP or ARM preferred.
Note: This is a field position based from home. Position will cover the Inland Empire area of Southern California. Candidates living in Rancho Cucamonga, Pomona, San Bernadino or other adjacent communities would be desirable.
