Directs all aspects of the highly visible and comprehensive SBU projects. Negotiates project objectives and direction with senior managers. Projects vary in scope and duration.
QUALIFICATIONS
As part of the bodily injury team, develop, maintain and revise the Bodily Injury Auto claims handling strategy for the Personal Markets SBU. Develop, define and manage Bodily Injury policies and procedures that will enable claims employees to successfully deliver sound coverage and investigation results and perform evaluations and investigations in a fair and timely manner. Identify and evaluate internal and external market issues in order to make recommendations.
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent training required. Masters degree, CPCU preferred. Familiarity with state and government regulations which relate to the Claims Department. Proven analytical and communications skills in order to provide analysis, consultation, training and serve as a Company representative. 5 to 7 years of previous experience in Automobile claims. Familiarity or previous experience in the insurance industry preferred. Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills.
