Description:
Everest National Insurance Company, a member of Everest Re Group, Ltd. seeks a Rating Business Analyst for our headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ.
This candidate will be responsible for carrying out the company's objectives by performing analysis of business needs, gathering requirements, preparing business systems specifications and ensuring quality on-time service to clients by evaluating insurance/business objectives, and performing comprehensive testing of vendor-delivered modifications.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining all commercial property and casualty lines, as it relates to the Insurity Commercial Intellisys system.
Ensuring quality vendor deliverables by performing testing within the Commercial Intellisys and WINS systems.
Identifying and reporting all problems to vendors.
Providing production support in response to user inquiries regarding system functionality.
Ensuring that all problems are resolved, delivered on a timely manner, and documented appropriately.
Preparing release documentation for internal and external users.
Performing training of the rating system.
Working on multiple projects of a moderately complex nature.
Learning the impact of front-end Commercial Intellisys changes to the interface into the WINS insurance system, as it relates to booking financial and statistical transactions.
Requirements:
Knowledge of rating of all commercial lines of business, with five years of hands-on rating or BSA experience.
A college degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong analytical, organizational and oral/written communication skills.
Experience with an Insurity policy rating and issuance system would be a plus.
