Essential Job Functions: 1.Design and program complex systems and complete a variety of technical assignments pertaining to those systems.
2.Develop and maintain database procedures as well as evaluate and analyze data used to support key business functions.
3.Write programs and follow-up with planned tests, output checks, and debugging when necessary.
4.Resolve technical problems relating to programs personally written and assist others in resolving technical problems.
5.Control and monitor assigned projects through standard project control procedures to ensure projects are completed timely.
6.Assist in the training of lower level web support staff and review their work.
7.Interface between Systems and Users regarding project requirements.
8.Maintain structure systems and program flow diagrams.
9.Maintain program narrative (functions), record layouts, and operating procedures.
10.Utilize and maintain knowledge of system software development tools under divisional guidelines. Increase knowledge and skill through technical courses and seminars.
11.Participate as a member of the technical team, including contributing to team meetings, presentations and other responsibilities.
12.Assist in the development of the short and long range data processing plans in support of corporate plans.
13.Fulfill checkpoint-reporting requirements by producing the necessary reports during the various stages of the assignment.
Position Requirements: The selected candidate will meet the following criteria: • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. • 4 years Data Processing experience with 4 years analysis and design experience OR 4 years programming experience utilizing Visual Basic, ASP, and object oriented concepts. • Knowledge of programming design and coding techniques and project management techniques. • Knowledge of data base and data communications technology. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Experience with software used.
Preferred Skills: • SQL experience • Experience with Crystal Reports • Experience with desktop programming • PC skills to include - MicroSoft Access and Visual Basic
