Our continued success and growth have prompted our search for a Risk Consultant in eastern/northern Texas.
Primary responsibilities will be to:
- develop and conduct safety meetings with our commercial policyholders
- team with Underwriting and Marketing to write and retain profitable business
- conduct property and safety surveys
- prepare building evaluations and written reports using a laptop computer
Qualifications:
- strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
- an acceptable driving record
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
And meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Field Safety Representative (FSR) (Former Workers’ Compensation)
- Successfully completed an Associate in Risk Management Program (ARM) or Associate in Loss Control Management Program (ALCM) course. (GL and PL Other than Hospital only).
- Successfully complete the Texas Motor Transportation Certification Program (for commercial automobile liability only).
- Accumulated 10 years of experience in occupational safety and health.
- Successfully complete a course of instruction approved by the Texas Department of Insurance.
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
The consultant will be responsible for risk management operations in eastern and northeastern portions of Texas. At least 4-8 nights per month of travel is required.
