The Sr. Healthcare Information Consultant, representing Client Consulting Services, is responsible for identifying opportunities to positively impact member health as well as the financial well-being of employer groups through data analysis and extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry. The candidate will be an active participant in supporting overall Sales strategies as well as working with the Sales team in implementing group-specific marketing and renewal strategies from both a financial and clinical perspective. The candidate will work primarily with New York Local Account Executives to provide strategic recommendations that communicate the value of the health plan and promote wellness to executives and professional clients. Essential duties include but are not limited to: • Provides healthcare analysis and demonstrates the Company''s value, leveraging the appropriate information with the client, collaborates with key areas of the organization to present a comprehensive, integrated healthcare story for the customer through presentations and written executive summaries. • Makes formal presentations both to prospective and existing clients. Participates in strategic presentations as needed to define and support the Company''s overall mission. • Evaluates account-specific utilization to target specific areas where the Company has an opportunity to offer new programs and promote wellness and other existing program options. • Prepares strategic responses via the RFP process, highlighting and promoting the value of the consulting role in the account management process. • Develops relationships with clients, consultants and brokers. • Provides business requirements and customer feedback to internal business partners to ensure that market leading, group-specific information is available for sound decision making. • Stays abreast of latest trends in the healthcare industry as well as the latest competitor offerings. Educates clients on industry trends and impact of these trends on the clients'' cost and utilization. • Provides subject matter expertise with internal business partners to improve the efficiency and continuity of group information, serving as an advocate for the customer. Performs strategic data analysis and research as appropriate to support business needs. • Assists in enterprise planning initiatives to address areas for improvement. • Performs other duties as assigned. |
