Responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses, which involve the design and execution of statistical programs to extract data. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Develops and executes data mining analyses. Uses program languages and statistical programs to extract data. Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information. Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages and statistical programs, and data integrity issues. Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design, implementation and security of database tables. Conducts training on use of applications developed. 1. Perform data quality testing and profiling, reviews data quality throughout the system and investigates issues. 2. Develop metrics and samples to support ongoing monitoring of data quality levels. Establish rules and procedures to enable data consolidation and integration at an enterprise level. 3. Develop technical documentation regarding data mapping and enrichment. 4. Identify data quality issues regarding accuracy, completeness, redundancy, and consistency. 5. Develop recommendations for remediation and prevention of data quality issues 6. Develops and implements test plans for operational reports and data. 7. Analyzes existing reports and metrics for adherence to metric and data standards. 8. Analyzes found system data integrity issues and works toward solutions. 9. Identifies gaps in processes and reporting from a data standpoint. 10. Acts as a consultant with end users on system use for good data practices. 11. Develops and maintains QA test suite and standardized report testing. 12. Documents test plans, procedures, and test results per defined technical specifications or business requirements. 13. Reconciles operational reports with client reports when needed. 14. Seeks out reporting QA tasks that can be automated and makes recommendations for automation projects. Performs other duties as assigned. |
