Fairmont Insurance, a leading insurance brokerage and agency located in Brooklyn, NY is searching for an Assistant Underwriter/Client Service Representative (CSR) for our commercial lines department.
· Key Duties & Responsibilities
-Interact with clients on an everyday basis
-Accept and process endorsement requests from policyholders
-Provide recommendations made by the carrier to the policyholder and forward compliances to the carrier upon completion of the recommendations
-Check policies, endorsements, and other policy material for accuracy
-Process Certificates of Insurance at client’s request
-Maintain data integrity for underwriting system
Ideal Candidate:
· 2+ years experience in servicing commercial casualty/property accounts for an Agency/Brokerage
· High school degree and/or equivalent related work experience
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in office operations, computer software skills
· Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
