Eagle Adjusting Services, Inc. is a national independent insurance adjusting firm. We are in the process of further developing a new service line to exclusively market managed care services in the Champaign, IL area. Eagle is now a regional provider and will eventually be servicing nationally.
We have exciting opportunities for Nurse Case Managers. Responsibilities will include but not limited too:
-on-site/telephonic claims management
-early intervention to facilitate return-to-work
-coordination of care in a timely, cost effective manner
-coordination and oversight of independent medical examinations
-medical records reviews
-causation evaluations
-life care planning
-coordination of Medicare set-asides
-peer reviews
-medical audits – over utilization
-attendance at disability hearings
-expert witness
-work closely with all examiners to ensure file disposition
In this position, you will encounter many lines of business inclusive of workers’ compensation, health insurance, casualty bodily injury, and disability. Flexibility, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and professionalism are traits that will allow tremendous success in this position.
Job requirements include:
-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
-Current/appropriate state licensure
-Minimum of 3 yrs. experience in either on-site or telephonic case management in any of the areas listed above (workers’ compensation preferred)
-CCM preferred
-Bilingual in Spanish a plus
-Must be self-motivated
