The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a growing and profitable marketing territory. Achieving success will include: procuring competitor intelligence; meeting quarterly objectives; increasing the number of producing producers, optimizing profitable growth potential; meeting with team members to make appropriate suggestions in regards to product, sytems, and pricing. Responsibilities & Objectives· Responsible for development of strong relationships with insurance agents in an assigned territory · Provides training on products and systems · Ability to motivate agents to quote and sell Bristol West · Identify and communicate product or market opportunities · Initiate audits, review production numbers and suggest methods to improve performance · Ability to execute and follow through with agent and co-workers · Participate in industry events/tradeshows as appropriate · Perform other duties as assigned. PREREQUISITES· Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience Experience & Skills· 2 + years of Sales, Service, and/or Insurance experience · Field sales experience is preferred · Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with agents · Self starter who is able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities · Critical thinking · Strong knowledge of MS Office products to include Word, Excel, and Powerpoint · Overnight travel required as needed
