Responsible for processing and maintaining all employee data in the HRIS system. Reviews source documents for accuracy. Audits and reconciles all payroll input information, benefit billing statements, benefit deductions, withholding taxes etc. Generates and distributes reports. Assists with administering and maintaining manager and employee self-service operating environment for human resource services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
? Responsible for the processing and maintenance of salary data, status
changes, performance and related information for all employees.
? Inputs all new hire data and creates new hire files.
? Updates systems regarding terminating employees and ensures that
final paychecks are processed.
? Inputs, maintains and audits sick leave, vacation and other absence
data in attendance controller system.
? Audits employee paychecks and distributes manual checks as
necessary.
? Provides assorted reports on a regular basis to management.
? Maintains corporate personnel files, including filing of related
information.
? Provides customer service, including problem resolution, to all
employees.
? Communicates payroll related changes, and answers routine to
complex payroll policy questions.
? Ensures all benefit billing statements (premiums) and benefit
deductions are reconciled and that all statements are paid on a timely
basis.
? Updates information regarding benefit eligibility; updates COBRA
eligibility etc.
? Analyzes and reconciles tax withholdings and deductions.
? Organizes special projects and other activities as assigned by
management.
Qualifications
Three to five years of payroll and HRIS experience.
