What is the purpose of a CLAIMS TEAM LEADER LEVEL III?

To supervise the daily activities of the Claims Adjusters within the assigned region in order to ensure quality service, high productivity and compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.

What does a CLAIMS TEAM LEADER LEVEL III do?

• Accomplishes results by successfully leading a team of Claims Adjusters
• Provides daily and monthly reports to upper management
• Conducts routine one-on-one and team meetings
• Directly supervises 4-6 Bodily Injury claims adjusters
• Maintains quality service by assuring prompt and accurate handling of claims
• Addresses escalated complaints
• Ensures all files are consistent and are in adherence to Company and State policies and procedures
• Maintains relationships with vendors
• Maintains positive team morale
• Reviews and audits claims

What makes a CLAIMS TEAM LEADER LEVEL III successful?

What is required?

Education:

• 4 year college degree required

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of bodily injury claims adjusting experience in the auto insurance industry
• Experience in a Team Leader or Manager position

Other skills and abilities:

Full understanding of auto claims investigations and claims processing

Effective leadership skills a must

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Effective negotiating skills

Knowledge of Texas laws regulating the automobile insurance industry

Computer proficient: MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
