Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies, an A+ rated company, is rapidly expanding our footprint throughout the US. We are currently searching for Telephonic Nurse Case Manager/Claims Supervisor who is interested in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse or license Practical Nurse who possesses 2+ years clinical experience preferably in case management, rehabilitation, orthopedics, or utilization review. You will oversee all technical and administrative issues and provide guidance and professional development to a workers compensation team.Responsibilities
Ensure timely and efficient claims services through the daily supervision of adjusters.
Review individual adjuster work product and performance; provide individual coaching and development strategies.
Demonstrate the ability to positively contribute to and support the vision, values, and strategies of the Claims Department and Guard in a manner that models strong leadership behaviors.
Candidates must have a current RN or LPN license; at least 2-5 years of supervisory experience; excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as solid computer skills. Certification in case management and knowledge of Workers' Compensation Law are preferred but not required. Ability to motivate, direct and influence a wide variety of people. Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
