Insurance Customer Service Representatives provide customer care support to the insurance team while engaging with, actively profiling, and presenting solutions to satisfy the complete needs of each member. This position actively promotes and supports the sale of insurance and membership products. They function as the branch sales agent in the absence of an insurance sales agent. Process customer endorsements and work with lenders and clients on evidence of insurance.
Membership Sales and Relationships.
Insurance Customer Service Representatives actively sell and promote AAA membership. They maintain an advanced knowledge of AAA membership benefits and systems as well as a comprehensive understanding of all AAA products, services and resources of other departments. Participate in the company vision to continually improve and deepen the relationship with AAA members.
This position processes insurance payments following correct policies and procedures while ensuring transaction documentation is processed and accurate. Ensures all insureds receive a payment receipt through all available communication resources; mail, email or printed copy.
Policy Changes & Endorsement Processing.
Processes all requests made by insureds or insurance agents within 24 hours of the request.
This position supports the insurance agents and branch retention and lead generation efforts by making outbound calls as assigned. Responds promptly to all inbound insureds questions or requests.
- Property & Casualty License preferred
- High school degree or GED
- Minimum two years customer service experience required
- One year insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, both in person, on the telephone and through email
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Word, Outlook and the ability to quickly learn and utilize the AAA processing systems
