PositionExcess Work Comp Claims Analyst
DescriptionOversight and direction of Excess and Reinsurance Work Comp claims -Review and evaluate primary carrier claims handling and reporting -Evaluate excess claims exposure and set appropriate reserves -Request and direct ongoing investigation and mitigation efforts -Prepare reports to the senior levels of claims and company management -Participate in joint claims, underwriting and actuarial evaluations and studies -Participate in auditing of direct claims handling assets for quality, accuracy and reporting
Position Requirements-B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredit college or university. Advanced degrees, industry designations (CPCU, AIC or SCLA) or J.D. preferred -15 year Work Comp claims handling experience, oversight and excess experience a plus - Desire California Worker Comp experience. -Superior writing skills -The ability to travel domestically #LI-Post
