We have a position open in Sacramento, CA for a Residential Field Appraiser & Review Specialist. The Residential Field Appraiser & Review Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of various forms of Real Estate Valuations and Reviews associated with client transactions. This individual will review and resolve complex issues within client defined appraisal requirements that are compliant with USPAP guidelines. The Residential Field Appraiser & Review Specialist will focus 60% to 70% of their time on Field Appraisals and 30% to 40% of their time on Quality Reviews. Key Responsibilities
  • Completing Assigned Desktop & Field Appraisals
  • Completing Assigned Quality Reviews
  • Completion of Client Post Completion Revision/Appeal Requests
  • Performing any required research needed for assigned work
  • Responsible for accurate and timely communication of process milestones
  • Participate in regular meetings with Leadership to identify regional trends, discuss opportunities and develop objectives based on direction
  • Collaborate with Appraisal Advocates to evaluate and recommend Client Specific Underwriting Guideline modification
  • Provide support for real estate valuations
  • Identify and escalate critical quality related client concerns and/or property issues to
  • Quality Control Appraisal Advocates
  • Maintain continued education and training as required for the position
Basic Qualifications
  • Actively Certified Residential Appraiser meeting the qualifications of all State level Appraisal Management Company Registration Acts
  • Candidate must be National USPAP Certified
  • No revocation without reinstatement for any state
  • No prior disciplinary that resulted in suspension, denial, revocation, that has not been subsequently be reinstated – appraisal, real estate, or lending related licenses in any state
  • Geographic Competency of all Real Estate related trends associated with the Appraisal/Valuation Process
  • Must have/be strong with evaluation and analysis, attention to details, team player, high energy, and a self-starter
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient with Industry Standardized Appraisal Technology
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Customer Service Oriented
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years Residential Appraising Experience
  • Mortgage Lending Experience/Knowledge
  • National Desktop Appraisal Review Experience
